Application Check List
The first step in the Department’s recruitment process is the completion of our Online Application Form that you will complete through our Online Application Portal (OAP). Once an applicant has successfully submitted his/her application before the announced deadline, then his/her application will be entered into a shortlisting process that will determine whether or not you have been selected to proceed to the other stages within the recruitment process.
Once you are successful, you will be contacted via telephone or email that you would have provided when completing your application. You will be advised of a date and time you are expected to be present at our recruitment centre to sit your assessment which will consist of three (3) papers, these are:
- Spellings
- English Language
- Mathematics
On the date given, you must ensure that you take the following supporting documents with you:
- All your academic qualification certifications
- Skills Certificate(s) (if any)
- Four (4) Passport size photographs (Taken no later than six (6) months, and should be certified by a Justice of the Peace)
- Original Birth Certificate and Deed Poll (if applicable)
- National Insurance Scheme (NIS) card
- Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) Card
- Valid photo ID in the form of National ID, Driver’s Licence or Passport
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Divorce Absolute (if applicable)
- Immunization Card
- Two (2) written character references/recommendations from a Justice of the Peace, Minister of Religion, Principal or a Police Officer of the Gazette Rank (Superintendent)
All documents MUST be originals for verification
